​George Theodoroulis  serves as the Director of Bands at Sealy High School. His responsibilities include conducting the SHS Symphonic Band, SHS Concert Band leading the marching band, assisting the color guard, and teaching beginner classes at Sealy Junior High. 

Mr. Theodoroulis grew up in Athens, Greece, and moved to Katy, TX in the summer of 2010.  While in secondary school he learned trombone and euphonium, and began composing his own music in high school. He attended the University of North Texas to study music composition, but switched his major after finding a passion for teaching. He is a founding member of the Beta Gamma Omega Beta Chapter, and holds memberships in both the Texas Music Educators Association, and Texas Bandmasters Association.

Throughout college, Mr. Theodoroulis has worked with Morton Ranch High School in Katy ISD, Wakeland High School in Frisco ISD, and The Colony High School in Lewisville ISD. In addition, Mr. Theodoroulis student taught at Cal and Walt Wester Middle School and Centennial High School in Frisco ISD. He has also worked with the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps as a member of the brass staff.

In terms of performance experience, Mr. Theodoroulis has been a part of a the varsity ensembles at the middle school and high school level. He also participated in the Region 4 Symphonic Band and Jazz Band, and was a member of the Katy ISD All-Star Jazz Band, where he opened for the Buddy Rich Big Band. While at UNT, he was involved in a variety of concert ensembles, the Green Brigade Marching Band, Basketball Band, Volleyball Band, 7:00 Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, 2:00 Steel Drums Ensemble, and The Busy Boys Trombone Quartet. He also helped found the UNT Eagle Ensemble, where he conducted and played percussion. During his time in university, Mr. Theodoroulis composed/arranged and performed a total of 14 pieces at the local, state, and national level.
